Digital BMS Sensor Array

This 3-D Balanced High Security Sensor, is the only known intelligent 3-D magnetometer security device. The complex shape of the magnetic field surrounding the sensor and permanent magnet actuator is analyzed by advanced proprietary algorithms to detect defeat attempts. Any distrubances in its field of view generate an alarm state. The air gap or space between the actuator and the sensor array is designed to prohibit defeat. False alarms are eliminated by EMI suppresiion filters and inherent immunity to shock and vibration.

The device is insensitive to high frequency magnetic fields such as those generated by transformers and electric motors. Low frequency magnetic fields, such as those generated by permanent magnets in the vicinity of the device are interpreted as an attempt to breach the security system and generate an alarm state. All inputs and outputs have EMI suppression filters providing a measure of protection against lightning induced interference.

The device is set to go into an alarm state if the magnetometer array sees any kind of magnetic field distrubance indicating a defeat attempt. Any magnetic object that disturbs the actuator field, including sliding magnets into the gap between the sensor and actuator, will generate an alarm state.

Shock, vibration, and induced line voltage transients are the primary cause of false alarm indication associated with magnetic contacts. There are no electrical contacts to fail. EMI suppression filters eliminate false logic states under normal operating conditions. Consequently, these environmental false alarms have been eliminated.
