Each design is matched to the aerodynamic air flow dynamics of the particular fan assembly. Driver electronics are usually integrated into the fan motor housing assembly. Either BLDC or Synchronous Permanent Magnet sinewave drives are used. We use both. The Back EMF waveform is sinusoidal.
